whats for dinner

so lately we have been eating alot of rice at my dh rerquest

and one of the things i have cook is a curry, chicken and green beans to be exact

i normally put mushrooms and peppers , but one day i decided to try it this way and masha`allah it turned out nice as i used natural yougart to help with the cooking

ingredients

2 chicken fillets

1/s kilo of green beans

3/4 pots of natural yougart

black pepper

cumin

carwia

coriander

saffron

tumeric

ginger

curry powder

salt

method

place chicken and spices and yogurt in a bowl and leave for about a hour or more depends on yourself

then after this time add to a pot and place on a medium heat once everything has loosened add you green beans and cook until everything is soft

i sometimes add a little tomato puree and if i want the sauce thick i will add a little flour that i have mixed with a little water

it as easy as that

well the pots are small and has no amount written on it but looking at other pots like it it`s about 107grams....... but you know i really dont go by pot sizes i just go by eye so if you feel you need more then i would surly go for that

    jazak`allah khair

Guest post From Halal Home Cooking ....Pancakes with a twist

As-Salaamu Alaykum I'm Umm Hamza from  Halal Home Cooking  today I'm sharing a recipe for a breakfast staple with a twist. Pancakes are my children's favourite breakfast food. They will gladly eat cereal with milk, creamy porridge and jam/jelly doughnuts but unlike those aforementioned staples that only get half to three quarters eaten because A. they turn soggy B. get's cold and sticky or c. no jam left, pancakes will  always  be eaten, no excuses. I'm always hoping when hitting that search button new products will pop up and this time it d...
