Asalam wa alikum
So as you know i`m not really one for baking ... but when a good recipe comes my way i must tell you about it
I have had this recipe for a while and never got around to trying it so as i was making my muffin bread i thought let me try this one ... Its a french loaf and so simple and easy
2 cups of water (warm)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp of yeast instant
2 tbsp of salt ... i felt it was a bit too much so i reduced it to 1
2 tbsp of oil (veg)
5 cups of flour
mix well and knead dough then allow to rise
punch back the dough then place on a tray
allow to rise again and place in a hot oven
it takes about 20 mins or so and masha`allah what a lovely bread
we toasted it and had butter and jam for breakfeast
enjoy and let me know how it works out

DeleteI am new to developing web sites and I was wondering if having
ReplyDeleteyour blog title related to your content really that important?
I see your title, "Blogger: Passing Through This Life " does appear to be spot on with what your website is about yet, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and based more around
site branding. Would you think this is a good idea or bad idea?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when i first choose to name my blog passing through this life ... it was exactly what i wanted..... as a muslim we believe that we are just passing through this life so with that and my daily life i thought what a good name
Deletei had a look at your blog and it`s all about candles and the name brand is canyon so i think the way you place the name of your blog is fine .... for me i thing i would have gone with Canyon (lights up your life)or you could say instead of life put home

ReplyDeleteAssalam aleikum! I read your (entire) blog today. I thougt about what you wrote on Ramadan. We did the same thing this year. We usually keep it simple but this year we thougt even more about not cooking to much, and NO cakes everyday. On thing that has made a huge difference is how we do our prayers. Me and husband live in Sweden with two children, 10 and 12. Me and the children where born her. Since the beginning of the year we encouraged the children to pray at least once a day. They had some difficulties because of the language. But in spring we are praying all prayers jama (together) if we are at home together. It has strengten our iman and our family and we naturally talk more about islam (how to live a good life islamically)/ Wa salam Um Jaad
ReplyDeletewa alikum asalam umm jaad
