last 10 days of ramadan

so we are in the last 10 days of ramadan, i just can`t believe how quick it has gone by, so what will we do to increase our ibadah , well insha`allah will do more reading of the quran , and try to pray night prayers as long as dd(baby) sleeps and doesn`t keep us awake insha`allah allah will accept all our dua`s in these last days and that all of you will be blessed in this month too Narrated Sahl bin Sad (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast." what are we eating

so being married to an algerian and living in algeria especially in ramadan means that their has to be chourba and borak on the table no matter what well not tonight my dh was only to happy to change the menu so tonight we had veg soup lasagna potato wedges coleslaw and only one algerian dish  shlitta so how did it go , masha`allah it was the first time in days that the kids eat great so i have taken pic of my lasagna and coleslaw also the wedges

so today is just one of those day i sit back and look at my kids and think subhan`allah , allah truly bleesed me . yes their are time that they drive me crazy but i couldn`t live without them , my son who does everything that he is asked all day he goes back and fort to the shop buying and even in this heat and he`s fasting he never complains .... the my two big girls help so much in the kitchen and after iftar they let my sit and relax and they wash and tidy the kitchen for me then the baby she just makes me laugh all the time the faces she pulls masha`allah , and now she is coming to us wanting to kiss us all the time it is so precious i ask allah that he keep them on the straight path that he guide them to do right by him and by us and that their off spring will be blessed just like them insha`allah

Italian Herb Frittata Recipe

so as ramadan is passing one thing my dh has noticed is that is blood sugar levels always goes up so now it is happening again so we have decided to try some new recipes to help make it better for him but for us too so i`ve been searching site looking for something and i came across a courgette  frittata which looks so mouth watering and so simple to make Italian Herb Frittata Recipe Photo by: Taste of Home Ingredients 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium zucchini, halved lengthwise and cut into 1-1/4 inch thick slices 1 cup fully cooked diced ham 6 eggs 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon McCormick® Italian Seasoning 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Black Pepper 2 medium plum tomatoes, sliced 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese Directions In a large ovenproof nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. so were half way

so now we are half way through ramadan and i feel better about the decisions i have made this month, one of those is putting the niqab on once i got the all clear to do so i felt a sense of calm come over me , just like when i made my shahada , i believe that allah is getting closer to me and me to him

my cooking

so i`ve started to look at ways of improving my home life , so one way is to try to make my kids happier, so i`ve being looking up on the net and looking at cooking websites and masha`llah i have found many new things i can do so the first thing i have tried is falfeal , the first time i made them they were ok but i didn`t really enjoy them so i decided to try again and masha``allah they turned out really well and didn`t break so heres how they looked

So after reading so many different blogs and having friends with their blogs I thought I would give this a try , I will just write about my life in general what I do with my kids  , i`m not sure if it will be any  interesting , but hopefully you will enjoy it
